Vini di Vignaioli is the oldest natural wine fair in Italy, born in 2002. Wine is a true expression of culture and this is exactly what the Vini di vignaioli fair wants to revive and transmit to each visitor.
We were very happy to participate to the independent fair of natural wine Vella Terra Barcelona 2020, in its 5th edition took place on February 9 and 10, 2020.
Vini di Vignaioli is the oldest natural wine fair in Italy, born in 2002. This edition, aims to introduce the Italian wine and winemakers to the parisian wine scene! Wine is a true expression of culture and this is exactly what the Vini di vignaioli fair wants to revive and transmit to each visitor.
Karakterre is Central and Eastern Europe’s leading salon of organic and biodynamic wines taking place each first weekend in December in Vienna-Austria. Now running in its eight vintage, we gather the world’s unique low-intervention winegrowers and showcase their work for a single day. We are focused on promoting wineries from the wider region that we, the organisers, originate from — the Central-Eastern European basin with specific focus on Austria and its winegrowing regions — but each year welcome grower friends from other European areas.

Some maintain that wine has never been better, cleaner, more consistent, or travelled so well as it does today. Equally, wine has never been made with so many pesticides, additives, preservatives and processes. The concept of wine’s ‘poetry’, its artistry or romanticism, or its exceptionality as a product with a sense of place is becoming rarer. Wines (and other drinks) at RAW WINE are not that. They are natural, artisan products.
1. Organic grapes, grown without the use of artificial chemicals.
2. Wine prepared by hand using artisanal techniques.
3. Made using traditional winemaking processes that enable balance.
4. Creating a living wine, with low intervention in the cellar.
5. Promoting wellbeing in individuals & communities.

Vini Veri, is one of the oldest natural wine consortiums in Italy, with a mission to bring together producers who work in a clean way both in the vineyard and in the cella, encouraging the exchange of experiences and results.
Producers of the Vini Veri community agree on the following basic practices:
IN THE VINEYARD:
a) no herbicides and/or desiccant herbicides; b) no chemical fertilizers; c) no genetically modified vines; d) new vines planted in the vineyard must be sourced from pre-existing ones; e) cultivate indigenous grape varietials; f) disease may only be treated with products permitted by organic winegrowing standards and in no case are synthetic, local systemic or systemic products allowed; g) grapes must be harvested by hand.
IN THE CELLAR:
a) only native yeasts present on the grapes or in the cellar can be used in fermentation; b) no nutrients or any other products can be added to modify the wine, such as vitamins, enzymes or bacteria; c) must concentration or forced-air drying methods are prohibited; d) the appassimento process of the grapes must occur naturally and not be forced; e) do not manipulate the natural development of the must or wine by trying to speed up or slow down the process; f) no temperature-controlled fermentation; g) no clarification or filtration of the wine because it alters the natural balance of the wine; h) sulfur dioxide levels can not exceed 80mg/l for dry wines and 100mg/l for sweet wines.

A brand new, very curated, natural wine salon in Switzerland!
Orange Wine Festival (OWF), has become one of the most important places for the presentation of natural orange wine producers. To present wines at the OWF, winemakers must confirm compliance of their wines with the Festival standard including natural procedures, prolonged maceration, spontaneous fermentation, possibly little intervention and low sulfur content.
